Scooters at Summer Institute
While we have golf carts to help participants get around campus, if you are going to rent a scooter, you need to do that before May 15th.
If you have decided that you need a scooter, please contact Rocking Mobility and tell them you are part of the UU Camp at Oberlin College, July 5-11. They will provide you with the necessary liability forms and make payment arrangements under the discounted rate we have negotiated. They will drop off your scooter with the rest of our group on the Thursday before SI and pick them up on the Monday after SI.
If you cannot afford to cover the cost of your scooter, please apply for a scholarship and your process will be taken care of by the scholarship committee. Do not contact the scooter company if you are asking for the scholarship committee to cover the cost. You will be sent liability forms to complete once your scholarship request is approved.
Contact information to order a scooter: Rocking Mobility 216-356-6984 Cost: Regular scooter with 300 lb weight limit $205.20, includes tax and delivery fee. Heavy duty scooter with capacity of 350 or 400 lbs, $259.20, includes tax and delivery fee. These are limited and on a first come, first served basis.

Jobs Still Available!
Many jobs are required to make the magic happen. We still need a Workshift coordinator, Health team worker (at least first aid/CPR certified), tie dye, and water play.
We are making an extra effort to try to support families with young child and have created a new child/parent afternoon workshop coordinator position for this purpose and we need vespers childcare providers. We'd love your help in supporting all members of our community.
Some jobs (camperships) are perfectly suited to a first-timer while others can be involved and take time to learn. Some jobs are awarded for a single year, others for 3 years at a time. See a brief description of the available camperships, the amount you will offset your registration fee, and a link to the application on the CERSI website.
